BARQUE HAZEL CRAIG, WINNER OF THE OCEAN RACE FROM NEWCASTLE TO AUCKLAND.
The Hazel Craig, Jessie Craig, and James Craig, of the Craig Line, left the Australian eoal port on February 11, the Jessie and James in company at 7.30 a.m., and the Hazel half an hour later. The Hazel Craig (Captain D. Urquhart) won after a smart passage of ten days, arriving in Auckland harbour on February 21, at 8 a.m. The Jessie Craig (Captain Mathieson) reached port at 5.30 p.m. the same day, and the James Craig (Captain W. Nagle) on the afternoon of the 23rd.
