Dear Bee, March 24. During race week at Tologa Bay, Mrs. Loisel gave A MOST ENJOYABLE DANCE. Mrs. Loisel wore black satin; Miss Loisel a pretty yellow silk, with inchings of narrow ribbon; Mrs. J. Moriee, white silk, with red flowers; Mrs. Hinton, l*laek dress; Mrs. C. Thomas, white, crepe de chine; Miss N. Seymour, maizecoloured crepe de chine; Miss N. Reynolds, white silk; Miss R. Reynolds, black satin and cream laee; Miss C. Reynolds, black silk; Miss Foster, black silk, pale blue Howers; Miss Bowman. white silk, with black bebe ribhon; Miss M. Reeves. pale blue silk; Miss M. Wallis, white uinslin; Miss M. Nolan, black tucked silk, wide lace herthe; Miss A. Sherratt. white net dress; Miss T. Busby, white silk; Miss H. Busby, pink silk; Messrs. Reynolds (2). Murphy (2), Loisel, Bit-dry. Neilson. Rutkdge (2), Reeves (2), Seymour. Ths -day following the dance all the guests •went to the races and spent a very jolly day. THE GISBORNE HARMONIC SOCIETY are hard at work again. Last year they gave a most successful rendering of “The Ancient Mariner,” and this season they are rehearsing Mendelssohn's
“Hymn of Praise.”
