Dear Bee, THE POLO TOl RXA.MENT was continued here until last 'Tuesday, when tlh* final match. Mangahei against Gisborne, was played. The first-named team won by six goals to two- Messrs. Reynolds (2) and Murphy (2) played for Mangahei. and Messrs Sherratt (2), J. Alurpliy, and O. Monckton for Gisborne. Some very interesting matches were played during the week, and as the wealh<*r kept beautifully tine, quite a number of pcopl.? went out every day. Afternoon tea. was provided on the different days by Mesdames R. Sherratt, Williamson. Murphy. W. Sherratt. and Misses Monckton. THE POLO BALL. which was held in His Majesty’s Theatre last Monday night, was certainly one of the nicest dances we have had for a long time.
