Dear Bee. February 24. Last Saturday night the members of the POVERTY BAY ( LI B gave a most enjoyable evening at their elub. I he whole place outside ivm pretiilv illuminated with ('hinese ’ lanterns. and inside all tin* rooms looked lovely. During the evening a billiard tournament caused a great deal of amusement. The large reading-room upstairs was used for music*. The supper tables were \ci\ prettily arranged with yellow Howers and grasses. Those present included Mrs I . Gray, in black satin -.
