WHAT WILL MEN AND WOMEN SUFFER IN THE PURSUIT OF PLEASURE These two photographs show an Auckland race train, mainly composed of cattle trucks, approaching and emerging from the Newmarket tunnel. From the amoun of sooty smoke generated on the severe up grade, it must be obvious that the passage through the tunnel is somewhat of an ordeal. The public growl, but bear it all the same.
