Dear Bee, December 1. At last we have had a week or two of fine weather, which also meant plenty of dust, but ex on that is preferable to rain. A VERY JOLLY LITTLE COUNTRY DANCE which was given at “Swarthmoor,” Patlltahi, on Saturday last, was got up by the Misses Woodbine-Johnston and Messrs Sherratt. Mrs John Murpnywas chaperone, and wore a frock of black crepe dt chine, an I white flowers in her hair; Miss Woodbine-Johnston wore cream accordion-pleated chiffon over pink silk; Miss If.
