A very successful and enjoyable euchre party in connection with the Thames 'Tennis Club was held on 'Thursday evening. and gave every evidence of sU'taining the interest of the members pending the return of next season. Fourteen tables were u*c<l. and the games wen* keenly contested. Tin* first prizes were won by Mrs ||. <;. Turner ami Aliss Doris (Tillou (Auckland). Air Wilson and Miss J. Watson scored the “boobies.’’ At the com lusion of play a dainty supper was served by an energetic committee, ami proceedings wound up with a very jolly little dance.
