Orange Blossoms.

FEN WIC K—RIMMER. A very pretty wedding of unusual interest took place ■ at the Wesleyan Church. Helensville, on the 12th inst., the contracting parties being Air Ralph Fenwick, of Paparoa, and Miss Lizzie Rimmer, third darghter of Air Thomas Rimmer, of Helensville. The church was beautifully decorated for the occasion by a number of young friends of the bride. Just over the heads of the bride and bridegroom was a beautiful floral bell, in the centre of which was a cunningly-devised prepared receptacle for rose petals, which, at the conclusion of the ceremony, emptied itself in a pretty pink shower over the head, veil and train of the bride as she moved away on the. arm of the bridegroom to sign her maiden name for the last time. The ofiiciating clergyman was the Rev. AV. Gittos. The bride looked charming in a cream crepe de chine gown with train, prettily trimmed with cream lace, veil and orange blossoms. The bridesmaids were Aliss Mabel Robinson and Aliss Aland Rimmer, sister of the bride. Both young ladies were gowned in cream silk voile, with Pariseoloured lace .and pretty knotted pale blue sashes, picture hats trimmed with small pink roses and hanging veils. The groomsmen were Air Herbert Fenwick, brother of the bridegroom, and Air W. Rimmer, brother of the bride. The Wedding March was played by Aliss Alice

Air and Airs Rimmer received their guests in the Foresters’ Halt, where the stage ami . supper-room was converted into a very elegant reeeption-room. Afternoon tea was dispensed, toasts proposed and responded to. causing much laughter and merriment. The Rev. AV. Gittos, Air R. Monk, ami Air Dye proposed the various toasts, responded to by the bridegroom and groomsman. Air and Airs Fenwick left by afternoon train amidst showers of rice and loud cheering from all the guests, who accompanied them to the station. Air and Airs Rimmer further entertained a number of young people in the evening. Air and Airs Fenwick received a large number of costly and useful presents. DINGLE—HARRIS. ; A very interesting wedding was celebrated at ‘Harrisville,” Huntly, recently, when Aliss Kathleen Harris, youngest daughter of Air. L. Bassi-re Harris, was married to Air. Miss Marie Ralph store white silk, with champagne insertieifs; Mias Alda Ralph, pink siik. with picture hat; and Miss Louisa Harris, white liberty silk. The gift of the bridegroom to the bride was a very hand-oine sapphire and diamond bracelet, and each bridesmaid was the recipient of a beautiful gold brooch. Mr. Newton Dingle Was best man, and Mr. J. B. Harris groomsman. After the ceremony the happy pair left by train to join the Fononia, en route for America, where {hey intend to spend six months. Mr. ami Mrs. L. H. Harris held a reception at their residence, and in the evening the guests were entertained with music. Mrs. Harris received her; visitors in a riel; black brocade. A very pretty wedding was celebrated at >St. Andrew s Church on Wednesday, MHh of October, by the Rev. Mr Gray, when Miss McLean, daughter of Mr J. McLean, cf Dargaville, was married to Mr VV. J. Dalien, traveller for A. 11. Nathan, Auckland. The bride, who was given .away by her father, looked charming in a graceful gown of creme voile profusely tucked and shirred and trimmed with lace insertion. She wore the orthodox wreath of orange blossoms and veil, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet, tile gift of the bridegroom, who also presented her with a very handsome diamond ring. The bridesmaids were the Misses M. and B. Stehr, of Dargaville, who were smartly gowned in sapphire blue voile with Paris laee yokes, tangerine corselet eeintures, and large black picture hats. They also wore very pretty gold •necklets and pendants, the gifts of. the bridegroom. Their bouquets- were exquisite, and were composed of shaded yellow blossoms ami maidenhair. Messrs. C. D. and J. W. McLean, brothers of the bride, acted as best man and groomsman respectively. After the- ceremony the. '‘Wedding March” was capably' rendered by Miss Lynda C'ulpan.
