ANNEAL MEETING OF THE CAMBRIDGE CLUB. CAMBRIDGE, Monday. 'According to the balance sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Cambridge Chib, held on Saturday evening, the chib has a ciedit balance of £l3. The chib, while it Is losing some of its o d hands, has some very good material coining forward, and the prospects are bright for the coming season. Practice mutches commence on the 15th hist. The following officers were elected: - President. Mr James Taylor; vice-presidents. Dr. Roberts and Mr W. C. Morgan: captain (left to a future meeting); vice-caplain, Mr R. Hannon; bon. secretary and treasurer. Mr M. Wells: committee, Messrs N. Banks. L Taylor. Fred, and Frank Ross, J. C. Putts, J. L. 8. Richardson. L. Peake. R. Dodd, and A. Richardson. Hearty votes of thanks were accorded Mr J. Taylor for the great. Interest he took in the game, and the facilities he afforded the members for playing on what has been made a really good polo ground; to the ladles for provld s nr afternoon tea; and to Mr C. C. Bn klaml for the excellent manner in which he carried out the duties of secret my and treasurer.
