GRAFTON V. PONSONBY.
Au even game was played between these ieams on the Auckland Domain, and it was no.t until the final Quarter that Wallace gave a fino opening to Latta, who scored the winning goal for Ponsonby, who wen by a goa’ to nil. SUBURBS V. SHAMROCK.
Shamrock opened the scoring in this match on the Domain, a very fast game being seen. Leslie and Blackler shot goals for the Shamrocks, and the Suburbs men, waking up, Philson opened their score. Brassey followed, ami then Miller scored lor the Shamrocks. The Suburbs tried hard to equalise, and Ward managed to do so with a lucky shot, the game ending three goals each.
