It has been decided by the Government that the Departmental Buildings, Parliament Buildings, and the General Post Office shall be illuminated in honour of His Excellency Lord Plunket upon bis arrival here. Details of the reception of the new Governor upon bis binding are in the hands of the civic authorities, and the Government, in order to assist ns far as they can, have decided to call out the volunteers and band. The steamonr Hinomoa, with members of the Ministry on board, will meet I lie Gothic outside the Heads, and I.ord Plunket will tranship to her and enter port on the Government steamer.
