BOWLING.
Saturday morning was so stormy and wet that bowlers did not anticipate the sudden clearing up, and most of the matches which had been arranged were postponed. A number of friendly games were arranged nt the last moment, and a few of the pre-arranged matches were brought off, the results being:— MOUNT EDEN GREEN. The inter-club match, Mount Eden v. Ponsonby, had to be postponed. The flrstyear players from Ponsonby met a team of Mount Eden players, and were defeated by three points. MOUNT ALBERT V. ROCKY NOOK. The return inter-club match between Mount Albert and Rocky Nook took place on Saturday, and resulted in a win fox* Mount Albert by seven points. Rocky Nook—Haselden (skip)—l9, v. Mt. Albert—Parry—l7.
