Next month several areas of Crown land in the Auckland district will be offered for sale or selection. Among them are 10,165 acres of second-class surveyed land in the survey districts of Hapukohe, Piako, Waihou, and Waitoa (Ohinemuri County). The prices for cash purchase range front 15/ to 25/ an acre, and the blocks from 102 to 532 acres. These lands are from 20 to 26

miles from Morrinsvllle, and 22 to 28 miles from Obiuewai. The sate will take place at Auckland on November 3.

On the same date 1884 acies of rural first and second-class surveyed land will be offered for sale in the East Taupo. Hokianga, Mangonui, Rotorua, Tauranga. Waitemata and Whangarei Counties. The only first-class land is in East Taupo, being a 47-acre block of ti-tree land near Taupo Township. The price is £ 1 an acre for cash. In the Hokianga County 92 acres at 10/ an acres, in the Herekino Settlement, two miles from the post office, In the Mangonui County 87 acres at the same price, two miles from the Taipa post office; in the Rotorua County 615 acres (of which 70 acres is mixed forest, the balance open land), at 9/6 an acre, about 19 miles from Maketu; Rotorua and Tauranga Counties, 420 acres (including 140 acres of flat and undulating ground) about 13 miles from Maketu. and 500 acres (400 acres being flat and undulating), about 15 miles from Maketu, at 9/6 an acre; in the Waitemata County, 100 acres of broken clay land, four miles from the Albany post office (Lucas Creek), at 7/ an acre: and in Whatrgarei County 12 acres of broken forest land, about. 1J miles from Pania Bay, at 10/ an acre.
