It is understood at Ealing that Lord George Hamilton will not seek re-elec-tion. It is officially announced that Earl Ilardwicke and Earl Donoughmore have been appointed Under-Secretaries for India and War, respectively. The New York newspapers are indignant with the action of a Lexington jury in acquitting the Lieutenant-Go-vernor, Mr B. R. Tillman, of a charge of murdering Mr Gonzales, editor of the State newspaper. Mr Gonzales was shot dead while walking unarmed in the street in Colombia-
