The Late Mr John Chambers.

The death is announced of Mr Juhn l iiambers, at his residence, St. Stephen’s Road, P.vrne'l. on Monday. About three years ago Mr Chamber-’ health began to fail, when he was at Dunedin. He returned to Auckland, and recovered sufficiently to again attend to business for a short while. attained tihe age of 66 years, and during his long residence in Auckland enjoyed rhe welldeserved reputation of being a man of his word, and a thoroughly upright gentleman.
