At the special graduation ceremony in the McEwan Hall, Edinburgh, last Saturday, the degree of Doctor of Medicine was conferred on Mr. William Chisholm Macdonald (in absentia) and the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery on Mr. Alan Cameron Owen, both of New Zealand. Mr. Owen is an Aucklander, and was some time in Africa with a military hospitaL
