ORANGE BLOSSOMS
RUTHERFORD—ANDERSOX. A quiet wedding was solemnised in St. Andrew's Church. Aiten-road, on Wednesday morning, September 17th. when Mr George Rutherford, of Raglan, eldest son of Mr James Rutherford. Pungarehu, Taranaki, was united with Miss Elizabeth Annie Anderson, eldest daughter of Captain and Mrs W. E. Anderson, oid and respected residents of Auckland. The Rev. H. B. Gray, of St. Andrew's, officiated, assisted by the Bev. R. F. Maenieol, of St. James'. The bride was given away by her father, and wore a handsome dress of ivory brocade, trimmed very tastefully with cream insertion and lace; coronet of orange blossoms over which was arranged an embroidered tulle veil, which was worn off the faee; and she carried an exquisite shower bouquet. Misses Mary and Maggie Anderson (sisters of the bride), and Miss Mary Maenieol acted as bridesmaids, all attired in pretty dresses of white silk, trimmed with cream insertion, and the skirts finished with deep tucks; two of the ladies wore black picture hats, lined with tucked white chiffon and trimmed with ostrich plumes and black ribbon velvet; the second bridesmaid wore a pretty burnt straw hat. trimmed with pale blue; and all carried beautiful bouquets of narcissi. Mrs Anderson wore a handsome black gown and black and white bonnet; Mrs Rutherford, sen., wore a handsome black silk dress, pretty black and white bonnet; Mrs J. Rutherford, Jun., white silk dress and black picture hat. There were also present Miss Eva Rutherford (sister of the bridegroom) and Mr Edward Anderson-
