ENGAGEMENTS.
The engagement is announced of Miss Augusta Gordon, daughter of Mr. 11. A. Gordon, of Auckland, to Mr. Lynch, of Westport.
The London correspondent of the "Australasian” announces the engagement of Mr. Thomas Mandeno Jackson, the New Zealand tenor, who has been settled in London for some years, to Miss Emily Foxcroft, a good-looking young singer, who has a recognised position in England. We understand that Mr. Jackson’s relatives in Auckland have not been notified of the engagement.
