The bazaar was given in aid of the Melanesian Mission Fund. On the lawn were exbibited interesting articles, the examination of which might well have taken up a whole aUernoon. so dainty and beautifully made they were. ’ At the close of the day the. wares which still remained were sold by auction, and it was found that a satisfactory sum had been realised. A fashionable company w;.s present; in response to the appeal of the pupils. Mrs J. Williams, Mrs Fitzroy. Miss Beamish. Miss Burke, Mrs S»»dertand, Mrs Crosse, Mrs Gore. Mrs Bussell.
