ANDREW—JONES.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated on Wednesday, 26th June, between Mr William Andrew, of the firm of Andrew. Sons and Co., ’bus proprietors, and Miss Love Jones, daughter of Mr Alex. Jones, of Ohaupo. The marriage took plaee at the residence of the bride’s aunt. Mrs Payne, of’ Wynyard Road, Mount Eden, in the presence of a large circle of relatives and friends. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr Norrie, of Papakura, who had also officiated at the marriage of the bride's mother, and baptised the bride. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr J. Jones, looked verydainty in a creme silk lustrine dress, trimmed with creme satin and lace, and wore a lovely wreath and veil. She was attended by Miss Aggie Brisbane as bridesmaid, who looked charming in white muslin, over buttercup. with satin belt and ribbons to match. Both bride and bridesmaid carried lovely bouquets; while Mr Walter Herrick acted as groomsman. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a valuable gold cable bracelet, and to the bridesmaid a gold ring. After the marriage ceremony a large number of friends partook of the wedding breakfast. In the evening a dance was held in the Eden Terrace Hall, to which many friends were invited. The weddingpresents were both numerous and valuable.
