An editor must possess the constitution of a horse, the obstinacy of a mule, the independence of a wood sawyer, the pertinacity of a dun, the endurance of a starving anaconda, and entire resignation to the most confounded of all earthly treadmills; and he must be a moving target for everyhodv to shoot at.
