ORANGE BLOSSOMS

HAY W ABD—MILLINGTON. A very pretty though quiet wedding took place on Thursday. October 36th, at the residence of the bride’s parents, “Eboracum,” Maunu, by the Rev. L. L. Cubitt, vicar of Whangarei, only the immediate relatives being present. The interested parties were John H., son of Mr Chas. E.f lay ward, Maungakaramea, to Elsie H., daughte'r of Mr J. T. Millington. The birde looked very pleasing in a dress of white China silk, trimmed with satin ribbon and chiffon, with orange blossoms and veil. The bridesmaid, Miss Isabel Millington (sister), wore canary coloured nun’s veiling, trimmed with white laee and braid. Mr Wm. G. Hayward acted as best man. The presents, from many appreciative friends, being various. handsome and useful, and nearly fifty in number. The ceremony took place in the library at 2.30 p.m. Afternoon tea was then served in the diningroom, and the cake cut, when the happy pair received the compliments of their friend#, and about 4 o’clock left for a riding tour in the North.
