“Goodness gracious!” exclaimed Mrs. Youngpop in the dead of the night, “the baby is certainly crying harder and harder every minute.” “Probably,” replied Mr. Youngpop, fiercely, “he’s getting mad because he can’t think up any reasonable excuse for staying awake any longer.”
