The engagement is announced of Miss Etta Townend. of Opawa, and Mr Stubbs, of the Bank of Australasia. The engagement is announced of Mr. A. W. Blair, Auckland, to Miss R. Jackson, daughter of Mr. Samuel Jackson, solicitor, Auckland. Another Auckland engagement is that of Mr. Noel Biss to Miss Florence Seecombe. The engagement is announced of Mr Charles J. E. Kissling to Miss Mildred Purchas, daughter of the Rev. Dr. Pnrchas. Both the lady and gentleman are well known in Auckland.
