HOSPITAL MATRON’S UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

An unpleasant experience, says a local paper, was that of Mrs John Agnew, of Hillsborough, near Onehunga. Formerly, Mrs Agnew held the responsible position of Matron of the Gympie Hospital, and then of the Herberton Hospital, North Queensland. Her departure from both institutions was marked by presentations and addresses, testifying to the high esteem in which Matron Agnew was held. She says: “But some time after settling here I became a victim to Sciatica, and was an invalid for several years. Sharp stinging pains ran through my back, legs, arms, and hips. My right arm and left leg be-

came paralysed, and these portions would sometimes cause me great agony—just as if a red hot iron was being rubbed over them. I grew thin and debilitated, lost energy, and was too weak to properly attend to the house. Expensive electric belts were bought and tried, I had medical treatment and liniments but all to no effect. Then I used Dr. Williams’ pink pills, and two boxes benefited me greatly. They made my blood rich and red, and after a time I felt it tingling down the paralysed portions of my body, so that they soon became well and useful. Ever since then I have been strong and robust and went through last winter without a twinge of pain. I am pleased to be able to personally- testify to the extraordinary merits possessed by Dr. Williams’ pink pills.” Special attention should be paid to Matron Agnew’s recommendation, for her position in the two hospitals mentioned makes it of special value, as she has had extensive knowledge in the treatment of most diseases. Dr. Williams’ pink pills cure by removing the foundations of disease, enriching the blood, strengthening the nerves, and invigorating the spine. Thus they cure rheumatism, neuralgia, dyspepsia, dysentery, insomnia, erysipelas, scrofula, rickets, paralysis, locomotor ataxia, etc. bold by the Dr. Williams’ Medicine Co., Wellington, three shillings per box, six boxes sixteen and six, post free, and by chemists and storekeepers.- — Bit nir.l ic.u ask for Dr. Wilburns’ and see ;h:ii the full name is prmted in red ink on the white wrapper.
