LAWN TENNIS.
The last games of the season were played last Saturday at the Hawke's Bay Tennis Courts, when the Lawn Tennis Club brought its season to a close—rather earlier than in former years, however, owing to necessary alterations which have to be made to the Courts. The following are the winners of the Tournaments which have been played during the summer months: Ladies' Singles, Miss Sutton: Ladies’ Doubles, Mesdames Hartley and McKay; Combined Doubles, Miss Watt and Nir Parker; Men's Singles. Nir A. J. Dixon: Men's Doubles, Messrs C larke and Brabazon.
