An Irishman went before the priest to have his sins forgiven. After confessing several small sins that he had committed, he said, “Now. Father, I must tell you the greatest sin of all. We were very hungry and I stole neighbour Ryan’s cow.” The priest replied, “Well. Pat, that, was verywicked of yon. you will go to perdition on the cow's horns." “Sure." replied Pat, “that's a lie. Father, for it was a poly one."
