FIGHTING ON THE FRONTIERS. 1 have just time to give you the very latest news before the Gothic leaves. Apparently the Boers are by no means having things their own way now. for news has just arrived of some fighting on the Natal borders. Hobart.] A despatch rider from Kimberley has reached Orange River, and the following has just appeared in a special: —“Kimberley. October 17.—A1l is well. There has been no more fighting. The garrison evacuated Vryburg on October 15. Mafekiug attacked the Boers on an armoured train on October 14. and drove them back with loss to the veldt. Our own loss two killed and twelve wounded."
