A TESTIMONIAL.
A gentleman lately dismissed a elever but dishonest gardener. For the sake of his wife and family he gave him a character, and this is how he worded it: ‘I hereby certify that A.B. has been my gardener for over two years, and that during that time lie got more out of my garden than any man I ever employed.’
