Dear Bee. September 6. During the last week we have had quite a gay time at the Ojiera. Each evening the Theatre Royal has been crowded, especially on Friday, when ’The Gay Parisienne' was staged for the first time in New Zealand. Amongst the audience on different evenings I have noticed Mrs Browning (Callie Bay). flame coloured silk blouse, which was very becoming, dark skirt; Mrs A. P. Burnes looked well in black silk, with jet trimmings; Mrs Percy Adams: Mrs Sweet, pink silk; Mrs Richmond, dark dress, handsome opera cloak of pink and white silk brocade, dainty cap; Miss Richmond, black evening dress: Mrs Selanders; Mrs Kingdom looked very well in black evening dress, finished with )>ale blue: Mrs Jack Sharp, dainty blouse of pearl grey silk, black skirt; Mrs Young, black, finished with bright red velvet; Mrs Bunny; Miss Bunny, pretty pale pink blouse, black skirt; her sister wore a red opera cloak over a dark dress; Mrs Webb-Bowen, black; Miss Webb-Bowen. rose pink evening blouse, finished with ecru lace, black skirt; Miss F.
