HER HOLLOWNESS.
The lights shone o’er fair women and brave men, jnst as the poet says ; for the women who were not fair were very careful not to get under the lights. ‘ How hollow is this world !’ she exclaimed bitterly. For nobody had come to take her down to supper. And we are all of us prone to judge the world by ourselves.
