ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

MR MILLS TO MISS MACE. Omata Church, New Plymouth, was the scene of a very pretty wedding last week, when Miss Ida Mace, daughter of Captain Mace, was married to Mr F. M. (Mout) Mills, of New Plymouth. The service was fully choral, and the church was prettily decorated to receive the bride, who looked very winsome in a blue gown, trimmed with fancy white braid, with white tucked surah silk front, and white hat. She also wore a handsome necklet of opals, a gift from her uncle. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father. Captain Mace, and was accompanied by Misses A. Culfield and Glynnes, who were her bridesmaids, and who wore white muslin frocks with coloured sashes. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. F. Mason. The best man was Mr O’Dowda. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the residence of Captain and Mrs Mace, at Oakura, where afternoon tea was partaken of in their beautiful grounds. Later on in the afternoon Mr and Mrs Mills left for their honeymoon, amid showers of rice and good wishes. The presents were numerous and very handsome. Mrs F. Pennington, pretty brown check tweed; Miss Glynnes, navy eostume, pale blue front, sailor hat; Miss Seed, pretty green shot lustre, white silk front: Miss Hempton, heliotrope, trimmed with creme lace, sailor hat; Mrs W. Corkill, Mrs Wareham. Mrs Looney, Miss Grylls, white muslin; Mrs Mills, jun., black, bonnet en suite; Miss M. Bayley, white embroidered muslin, yellow sash; Mrs Shaw, handsome creme dress; Miss Young, brown, sailor hat; Miss Spencer, brown; Miss Elsie McDiarmid, Mrs A.
