THE NEW STAMPS.
The new issue of postage stamps of which we give a reproduction has been in great demand, not only by philatelists, but by mere speculators who count on making an honest penny through the appreciation of the issue. The first shipment, which consisted of 300,000, must be sold out now. but a second shipment is being' distributed this week.
