MR WILKIE TO MISS CAMPBELL.

A wedding of interest took place recently at St. Mark’s Church, Wellington, when Miss Annie Campbell, eldest daughter of the late Mr M. Campbell, of Nelson, was married to Mr J. Mitchell Wilkie, of Waipuna, Manutahi, Taranaki. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Coffey. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr T. H. Campbell, wore a tailor-made travelling dress of electric blue cloth, vest of pale pink ac-cordion-pleated chiffon, with stylish hat to match, and carried an exquisite bouquet composed of orange blossoms, stephanotis, water lilies, and other rare flowers. She was attended by her sister, Miss Fanny Campbell, as bridesmaid, who wore a cream silk crepon dress trimmed with chiffon and buttercup moire baby ribbon, bolero hat trimmed with cream chiffon and yellow roses and buttercup silk, shower bouquet of marguerites and maidenhair. The bridegroom was attended by Dr. Campbell as groomsman. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a valuable diamond and sapphire ring. The bridesmaid was presented with a gold bar brooch with cairngorm stones. Miss Lily Campbell wore a costume of pearl grey satin, yoke covered with gathered chiffon, chip hat trimmed with cream chiffon and crimson roses; Miss Wilkie wore a twine-coloured silk trimmed with brown Merveilleux rich lace; brown straw hat trimmed with shot ribbon, yellow velvet roses and autumn leaves; Mrs T. H. Campbell wore an eau de Nil muslin with cream chiffon front, and floral toque.
