GRAPHOLOGY
OR PEN PORTRAITS
Any reader of the ‘New Zealand Graphic’ ean have his or her character sketched by sending a specimen of handwriting with signature or nom de plume to
MADAME MARCELLA, GRAPHIC’ OFFICE. AUCKLAND. The coupon appearing on the last page of cover of the' ‘Graphic' and twenty - four penny stamps must accompany each letter.
‘ Mephistophles.’—l should much like to be sure which of the four different capital M's you have given me in your specimen is the one which you habitually use in writing, as each contains the indications of different traits of character. All display a decided individuality, and all but one show some reserve or diffidence in allowing your real personality to be fully understood. You practise no deception, and have a strict regard for truth, but you are cautious and guarded, and slightly self distrustful, yet sensitively proud and keenly observant. Trifling actions and minute facts do not escape your notice, and you form your opinions with care and circumspection, and generally keep them to yourself. You are quietly energetic, but not in the least impulsive ; sufficiently firm in will, although open to conviction, and susceptible to impressions. Your taste is good and well cultivated, and your imagination sufficiently vivid to inspire admiration for beauty and quickness of comprehension. Your temper is good also, and your spirits are equable, but if anything more easily depressed than elated. You are never more sanguine on any subject than circumstances justify. Method and neatness are accentuated, and you pay due deference to conventionality and believe in the necessity of attending to appearances. Your abilities are above the average ; but your perseverance requires the stimulus of interest.—MARCELLA.
