PALMERSTON NORTH.
Dear bee, September 24. I am sending you a brief account of a very nice FANCY DRESS 8A1,!., which was given at the Foresters’ Hall the other afternoon. Many mothers were delighted that the hostess was sensible enough to give a children’s party at a reasonable hour. The dance was in honour of Master Geoffrey Elkington, and a large number of children were present. Mr and Mrs Elkington pleasantly welcomed their young guests. Amongst the many present were the following, whom I have placed in alphabetical order : —Miss Sybil Abraham, Flower Girl ; Master Martin Abraham, French Cook ; Miss Barraud, Japanese Lady; Miss Dorothy Baker, Empire; Miss Kathleen Bell, Little Miss Mufifet; the Misses Buick, Kate Greenaways; Misslvy Coote, Fairy Queen ; Master Coote, Knave of Tarts; Miss Cobb, Lord Fauntleroy; Master Cobb, Jester; Master Cohen, Pierrot; Master Cooke.
