GRAPHOLOGY OR PEN PORTRAITS.

Any reader of the Nbw Zealand Graphic can have his or her character sketched by sending a specimen of band writing with signature or nom de plume to MADAME MARCELLA, •Graphic’ Office, Auckland. The coupon appearing on the last page of cover of the Graphic and twenty-four penny stamps must accompany each letter.

‘ Obadiah.’ —A most affectionate disposition is displayed in your handwriting. I think, if anything, you possess too mnch heart for your own happiness, as acute sensitiveness is also indicated, and I infer from the combination of those qualities that you are easily wounded where your affections are concerned, and it may be possible for you to suffer from the jealousy from which very deep, and yet passionate, love is rarely entirely free ; but I detect no sign of caprice or fanciful imagination ; therefore your good sense and practical reason will guard you from many dangers attendant on the attacks of the green - eyed monster. Self - control, courage, and patient determination are all very perceptible, and so are truth and sincerity. From kindness of heart and extreme good nature you carefully avoid causing pain to others, but you would rather give offence than have recourse to falsehood and duplicity. Your temper is good, you are generous without extravagance, steadily painstaking, but not restlessly energetic. Your capital M.’s give proof of much force of character. The A.’s show good abilities, and the capitals generally proper pride and consistency in action and theory. I also perceive indications of punctuality and business capability. I am uncertain whether these traits in your character are yet fully developed. They may be latent at present, but I am graphologically convinced that they exist. You receive impressions quickly, but you do not devote much time to observation, and prefer to judge leniently rather than criticise severely.—Marcella.
