ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
MR BARNETT TO MISS PAGE. A QUIET wedding was celebrated in St. Mark’s Church, Wellington, by the Rev. R. Coffey. The happy pair were Mr J. D. Barnett, who is well-known in the athletic world, and Miss Nellie Page, daughter of Mr J. E. Page, Town Clerk of Wellington. The bride was given away by her father, and looked very well in her chic travelling dress of French blue cloth, with a charming blue velvet and feathered hat to match. Miss Annie Page (sister of the bride) was the only bridemaiden, tastefully dressed in dark blue astrachan cloth costume, hat of dark velvet to harmonise. Mr Watkins played the ‘Wedding March,’ and Mr F. Pownall was best man. The honeymoon is being spent in the Wairarapa district. There were many lovely presents. Mrs Page wore a black silk crepon dress, black and white velvet bonnet with white ospreys ; Mrs Barnett, black satin embroidered with gold sequins, smart gold and black bonnet ; Mrs Leicester (aunt of bridegroom), rich black broch6 silk with a handsomely embroidered vest. MR KINNEAR TO MRS GOUGH. The marriage of Mr Charles Lea Kinnear, son of the late Mr William Francis Kinnear, of Oamaru, to Emmie Louise, widow of the late F. J. Gough, of St. Albans, took place in May at Holy Trinity church, Hastings, England. The Rev. Canon Sanderson performed the ceremony.
