SCENE : Terrible rain, tram crammed full, smart woman on the platform. Conductor (to inside passengers) : ‘ Can you squeeze a lady in there ?’ Innumerable Male Voices (in chorus) : ‘ Yes, certainly.’ (Smart woman gets in and gets squeezed.)
