a correction. In last week's article on the Try Fluke mine a well-de-served eulogy was paid to the legal manager, Mr Gilfillan. By an oversight the wrong initials were given. It is Mr H. Gilfillan, junior, who is so well-known in mining circles, not as stated last week, Mr J. B. Gilfillan. The error would be patent to anyone in mining circles, but this correction is now made for the sake of English mining people who might possibly have been misled. MrJ. B. Gilfillan is a well-respected Auckland merchant.
