SANTO, THE ASSASSIN.

President of the French Republic, will still be fresh in the minds of everyone.

It is hoped that the very friendly message of condolence sent by the German Emperor to the French Republic, will have the effect of helping to break down the already weakening animosity between the two nations. The Emperor is liberating two French prisoners in proof of his kindly feelings towards the Gauls.
