A QUEER DEATH.
Some people never tire of inventing new modes of death, and he was a business like man who ended his career the other day by putting one end of a gun in his mouth and the other in the fire. Still more noteworthy are the circumstances attending the death of the heroine whose thrilling adventures are just published: 'There’ — such is the tragic announcement— ‘ there she lay, breathing out her life in short pants.’
