FEILDING.
Dear Bee, April 4. Feilding is beginning to get a little more lively as the winter approaches. Miss Robertson is getting up a series of six dances, which are to be held fortnightly. The first two have already taken place, and have proveda great success, the music and floor both being good. There were present at the first Mrs Bag nail, Mrs McArthur, Mrs Robertson, Mrs Watkins, the Misses Fry, Monckton, Greenwood. Saxon, who wore pink silk with black lace; K. Saxon, Knowles, cream net; E. Knowles, black ; Philips, Watkins, pale blue; Robertson, Bagnall, etc., Messrs French, Bishop, Cornish, Lethbridge, Brabant. Haynes. Matheson, etc. The second of the series took place last Friday, whn there were present.: Mrs Robertson, who wore a black velvet robe slightly trained; Mrs Bagnall, stylish figured material, with blue ribbon prettily arranged on the bodice ; Mrs Saxon, black ; Mrs Sandilands, b'ack and salmon ; Mrs A. Knowles, black lace ; Mrs Toswell, striped salmon-coloured silk ; Miss Philips, black ; Miss Saxon, a pretty combination of violet velvet and figured silk; Miss K. Saxon, pale blue muslin; Miss Bagnall, black lace relieved with red; Miss Robertson, white muslin and lace; Miss Greenfield, blue veiling; Miss Watkins, pale blue Indian muslin ; Messrs Cornish, Brabant, Moss, Matheson, Toswell, Girson, Lethbridge, etc.
