MR GEE’S CONCERTS.

THE opening concerts of Mr Gee’** winter series were largely attended on Wednesday last and Good Friday. The great singer was in good voice on both occasions, and his splendid singing simply ‘ brought down the house.’ He is unquestionably one of the finest singers in Australasia, and Auckland is lucky indeed to have him as a resident. He was very ably supported on both occasions. This (Wednesday) evening another concert will be given, at which Mr Gee will sing ‘ Thou Art Pass ing Hence ’ and * The Desert.’ Those who have heard Mr Gee in these songs will certainly book their seats at once. No greater musical treat can be imagined.
