THE interest taken in the discussions in the smokeroom and numerous opinions sent in too late for insertion make it expedient to announce SUBJECTS FUR FUTURE DISCUSSION. Opinions a r e requested on the following questions which will shortly be discussed. 2. ‘The Social Horizon.’ the lest and most interesting of the Social Science Series written by the Daily Sews Commissioner. The book is the dispassionate opinion of a keen and practiced observer on the tendencies of the age. It is forcible and creates thought — a book which should certainly be universally read. The author is not a Socialist, nor in any way connected with Socialism. Opinions are invited on the views expressed in ‘The Social Horizon.' which may be purchased at most modern book shops for 2s. Contributions on this subject must reach the Snarls Editor, Graphic Office, on or before July 17th. 3. The Pleasures’ and Pains of Mundane Existence—ls Life Worth Living? Opinions must reach Graphic Office not later than July 23rd. No contributions must number more than forty lines of the Graphic, or about 2SO to 300 words.
