DUNEDIN.
Dear Bee, January 9. Things are still quiet, a few private parties and the opera being the only excitement. The weather here is so lovely that Mrs W. H. Reynolds has turned her Monday’s * At Home ’ into croquet days, all visitors being invited to play, and has made croquet all the rage again. Mrs Judge Williams also has made her Thursday’s ‘At Home’ into tennis afternoons, and in both cases very pleasant times are spent. Last Friday Mrs Ogston gave A EUCHRE PARTY. Among the guests were Mrs Ridings, the Misses Williams, Gibson, Reynolds (two), and Sievwright. ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES.
