HUNTING.

fMHE Pakuranga Hounds met last week at Green Lane, ! Epsonr. This is the last hunt of the season, though there is some talk of having a special one for Lord Glasgow. There were four drags laid in a circle round Mount Smart and back to the starting place. All the jump ing was over scoria walls. Only one lady followed, Miss Buckland, the rest of the hunt ing ladies’ horses being in training for the coining races, which take place next Saturday. Amongst those riding were Mesdames Bilborongh, Buckland, Misses Girdler, Garrett, Percival, Russell, Dunnett, Bull, Ireland (two). Buckland, Sellers, Laishley, Messrs Percival, Gilmore, Noble, Tonks (two), Dunnett, Stewart, Mcl .aughlin, Waie, Heywood, Dawson, Walker, Bloom field, Dr. Forbes. Driving were Mr Wynyard and Mies Tonks ; Col. and Mrs Dawson and Miss Elliot ; Mr Crombie, Mrs and Miss Walker; Mr Goodhue, Mrs and Miss Ireland and Miss Ray : Misses Firth ; Mr and Mrs A. Carrick ; Dr. Girdler ; Mr Garrat and three gentlemen friends ; Mr and Mrs Cottle and Miss Bursil.
