In ‘ The World Against her? Mi-s Deorwyn wore a very rich gown of bright crimson shot with yedow <ind made with a long, sweeping train, the low bodice trimmed with gold braid.and later on she looked very well in cream soft siik braided with gold, and wore a cAic little hat of white felt and ostrich tips. Her sister wore a very prettv heliotrope cashmere. s.ightly trained, and trimmed with deep violet velvet, and wore a sweet little hat of bronze lace trimmed with blush roses. I believe all. or nearly all. the gaiety of the session is over. We have a Harmonic concert in prospect, and also a dance to be given in Ihomas Hall by the Misses Tuckey. otherwise I have not heard of anything else. The session young ladies have nearlv all departed. I think Miss Mabel t?tudholme and Miss Tabart', both of Christchurch, are the only visitors left, and they leave verv soon.
