RESIGNATIONS AND APPOINTMENTS.
Miss Corbetta Lord, late Matron of Waihi Hospital, has been appointed to the Matronship of Greymouth Hospital. Miss Lord was trained m Greymouth Hospital, and since her training, has had much experience m various hospitals. She took her midwifery training m St. Helens, Auckland.
Miss Agnes McLean has resigned the position of (iirls* Superintendent m the Immigration Department, after sixteen years' service.
Sister Carrie Jones, who has been District Nurse at Paekakariki for the some years, has now resigned that position m view of her approaching marriage. Sister Jones went to England on the outbreak of war. and at once joined the Queen Alexandra Reserve and served until the end of the war.
Nurse Hodder, of Wellington Hospital, has been appointed District Nurse at Paekakariki. m succession to Miss Carrie Jones.
Mrs. Evans (Nurse Salmon) has been appointed Matron of the Otaki Hospital, which is now under the Palmerston North Hoard. Mrs. Evans was trained at Camberwell Infirmary, London, and came out during the war. After her marriage, having lost her husband, she returned to England and obtained her midwifery certificate, and later returned to New Zea-
land, where she has been a Plunket nurse and tilled several other positions.
Miss H. A. Marston has been appointed Matron of Whitianga Hospital. Mercury Raw
