State Examinations
The State Examination for nurses was held on June sth and 6th.
One hundred and seventy-three candidates sat, 135 passed, 19 completed a pass. 15 obtained a partial pass, and 4 failed.
Three candidates tied for the first place, namely, Jessie Martin, Wellington Hospital; Edith M. Henderson. Hamilton
Hospital; Hectorine Burnett, Napier Hospital. Twenty-five passed with honours
The comments of the examiners are appended. The}- give valuable hints both for future candidates and for those who have to prepare them for examination.
